I recently took a trip over to the Triumph UK Factory in Hinckley Leicestershire with some good friends for the “Factory visitor experience”.
It was a great day out made even better by the lucky break in the weather and the nice ride over we had…
This state of the art visitor centre is a relatively new addition to the Triumph HQ, and provides an engaging and immersive visitor experience. It tells the story of Triumph over 115 years. Split over two floors, visitors are taken through eight different zones: Attitude, Bloodline, Performance, Icons, Design, Belonging, Identity and For the Ride.
The experience also showcases some of its most famous bikes from over the years, and supposedly the worlds rarest collection; Including Steve McQueen’s Great Escape movie bike! and the Mission impossible Speed Triple.
Pitched at those with a general interest as well as hardcore motorcycle fans, the 1,200sq m (12,196sq ft) space features exhibits, interactives and 40 original modern and vintage motorbikes as well as the Triumph 1902 cafe (named after the year it produced its first bike).
Entry to the experience is free, although you can purchase an additional entry to the factory tour which gives you unprecedented access to the production line and an insight into the manufacturing process of these beautiful bikes. There is also a factory shop selling memorabilia and clothing.
I’d thoroughly recommend this to any bikers or bike fans, it’s definitely a worthwhile visit, and theres plenty of bike parking directly outside the entrance to!
Youtube video of my trip will be available on my channel soon! @The Viking Biker
